The Galway Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the top hurling clubs in the county. The winners of the Galway Championship qualify to represent the county in the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship and, if successful, go on to the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship. The 2011 Galway Senior Hurling Champions are Gort who defeated the holders, Clarinbridge, in the final.

History

The most successful Galway team as of 2010 are Castlegar who have won the championship on seventeen occasions, winning their last title in 1984. Meelick won the first senior hurling championship in 1887, it proved to be their only Galway championship victory.
